We created Fishers Academy as a Registered Training Organisation to provide our people with Nationally Accredited training in Certificate 2 and 3 in Retail and Certificate 4 in Retail Management to enable them to be the best they can be in their role and equip them to pursue their career with us.
Fishers were recently recognised as an Employer of Excellence for our commitment to Vocational Education and Training with a school based apprentice butcher.
We constantly source new initiatives through our Fishers Academy such as a partnership with Irymple Secondary School to deliver Certificate 2 in Retail to students in years 9 & 10, providing them with work experience and casual employment. Our aim is to attract people to Retail and encourage them to see it is a career, not just a job.
