About Fishers Stawell...
Stawell is a former goldmining town with a population of around 7000 people. Stawell is located just off the Western Highway, 32 km north-west of Ararat and 235 km north-west of Melbourne. Stawell's main industries include brick-production, goldmining and farming. The Stawell site was purchased in 2002 along with adjacent land for future expansion. Fishers Stawell was the second store purchased outside of the Sunraysia area and gave Fishers the opportunity to expand the business deeper into regional Victoria. We currently have 7 Supermarkets outside of the Sunraysia area with more supermarkets coming soon.
