Brewery Tour

If you want to know more about beer and how its transformed from a gooey sticky mass into a glass of frothy amber joy, well you must join me on a guided tour of the Mildura Brewery.

This will cost exactly nix, and will of course include tastings of their brews. Remember folks “Knowledge is Power”, so can you imagine being stuck on the million dollar question on “Who wants to be a Millionaire” and its “What do you call the fermenting mass in the beer making process?” Without this tour you wouldn’t know!

We have secured a heap of old label Petit Verdot and Sangiovese from Zilzie (by old label I mean the excellent 2002 Vintage). The last time I tasted these wines they were retailing at $11.75 and I loved them; now at only $5.95 they’re an absolute bargain. This Weeks Tasting

...a very nice mixed bag

Quite an interesting assortment of goodies this week, something for everyone. Firstly we have Mumm Champagne so you can try before you buy. There’s also Charles Cimicky Cab Sav Shiraz and his Rose, Angoves Butterfly Ridge wines AND Grolsch beer.

Voyager to Mildura

Sunday 19th June we will be boarding the River Queen Voyager for a long leisurely cruise to Mildara for a BBQ and tastings of their extensive range.

Those of you who were lucky enough to get on the slow boat to Trentham last year will know what a good time we had and probably won’t want to miss this trip. I’ll be donning the Chefs hat to cook lunch so I can promise no tough chops and rissoles!

Get a group together and book now tickets will be $35ph all inclusive.
