Spring at last...

Spring at last but it looks like winter hasn’t given up its icy hold quite yet, but Im sure all of the goodies Ill be receiving on Fathers Day will warm me up.

Im going to cook myself a special Fathers Day dinner of roast duck and serve it with a bottle of good Pinot, I know I know , the family should be looking after me with platters of gourmet treats all day long, but roasting a duck, if its not done properly, can end disastrously. Plus I get to pick all the good bits first!

And speaking of Dads day, have you got in to the shop for that last minute present, we’ve got heaps of ideas.

Over the weekend the Victorian Rolls Royce club came to town for a tour, it was quite a sight to see 16 of these stately beasts cruising the riverfront. Being a car buff I could help myself but snap a few shots. I wonder what’s the collective noun for a group of Rollers? Anyone!
