About time we started getting some decent weather, I actually got sunburnt on the weekend its been that sunny or it could be my pasty winter skin colour!?!?!

We are counting down the sleeps to the fine wine expo, should start seeing the wines on offer in the Liquor Departments from now on. Looking at the wine list I myself, is looking very forward to next Saturday….

Some good tastings this week in at Deakin Ave on Friday night, I heard there may be even some Expo tickets there for those who attend…. Well worth a look.

WINE TASTINGS

Some premium varieties this week from Jacobs Creek , Kaye will be taking you through the Reserve range. With a couple of hearty reds, a bubbly and a new one to our in the store Reserve range the Sauvignon Blanc.

RED CLIFFS STORE TASTINGS

Next week to gear everyone up for the Wine Expo next Saturday, we will have Michael Shipsides in from the Wingara Wine Group with the exquisite Katnook Range. Something a little different for the good people of red cliffs, a range that we haven't stocked on our shelves. So if you're out that way it is a perfect opportunity to try a new range. More information will be in next issue as to what exactly what will be on for tasting.

The eighth annual Fishers Fine Wines Expo is on again. Now looking at the line there will be something for everyone. Red, whites, sparkling, whatever your bag is, its there. Not only the terrific wines from our local winemakers, but from all the popular wine producing areas in Australia and even overseas!!!! Don't like wine? That's fine, there will also be boutique beer (sourced locally and afar) and gourmet nibbles on hand for those with a different palate. Not only will it be a perfect opportunity to sample these great wines, but you can order the wines that you liked to take home and at a special Expo price…. What's more, everyone is welcome to come along.
